April 25th – 29th

Hello Parents,

This Week’s Bible verse:

I Corinthians 13:4- 8a

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.  Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.

There is a Storm a’comin’ to GCS tomorrow.  Our Knights are asked to wear their GCS apparel as we take on the Island Storm in a game we’ve titled, “Are You Smarter Than A GCS Knight?”  The Storm team is planning a visit to our school tomorrow morning to provide elementary students with a free ticket to their game this coming Friday night.

Individuals wishing to purchase tickets are asked to send their money to your child’s homeroom teacher before Thursday, April 14th.  It is first come, first serve, and tickets will sell quickly! A voucher will be provided to you for the game, however your voucher must be redeemed at the Eastlink Box Office to obtain your seat.

Spread the word to your friends, family, and co-workers! We hope you will all join us to cheer on our Island Storm and display our GCS school spirit!
