Hello Parents,
I hope you all enjoyed this sunny weekend. It is so nice to feel warmer air and see the snow melting. 🙂 I can’t wait until more of the snow is gone to finally get back outside for some biking or roller blading.
There is lots to let you know about this week, first off don’t forget the April is re-enrollment month. The grade one and two class for next year will fill up quickly so please register early to secure your spot for next year. Click below for more information on re-enrollment.

Report Cards:
Report cards will be going home with your child on Wednesday. Parent teacher interviews will be Thursday night from 6-9 and Friday morning from 10 – 12. There is a sign up sheet in the entry way, please sign up for an appointment. I did not get to meet with many of you last quarter because of the storm days. I would love to meet with all of you to discuss your child’s progress. If Thursday or Friday does not work for you, please let me know and I would be happy to set up a time that is convenient for you.
Because of Parent teacher interview on Friday there will be no classes for students on Friday.
High School Drama
Everyone is invited to join us for the GCS High School Drama “Night at the Wax Museum” which will be presented on both Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18; both shows begin at 7pm. Tickets are $8 in advance (at the SCRIP desk, school office, and from cast members) or $10 at the door.
Family Fun Run
It’s not too late to register!
Single rates: Standard- registration (before April 14) — $25
Late-registration (after April 14) –$30
Family Fees: Standard-registration (before April 14) — $45
Late-registration (After April 14) — $50
The Family Fun Run will take place on Saturday May 2nd.

Thursday April 16th — Phonics test
Thursday April 16th — Spelling test LIst # 18 Grade one, List # 21 grade two.
